ETHICS AND MISSION	About Satrn Code of Ethics The Satrn Organization SATRN is an organization dedicated to advancing the technical recruiting profession. To that end, its members have established this code of Ethics. As a condition of continuing membership, each member promises to: Maintain the highest possible standards of integrity in their ethical and professional conduct. Treat all candidates, clients (internal or external), colleagues, and competitors with dignity and respect: not exerting undue pressure on either candidate or client, nor seeking unfair advantage against competitors. Provide both candidates and clients with the most accurate information known to the member, especially information that would be deemed essential to either party's hiring decision: and to enusre that all advertising is true, accurate, and correct. Honor the confidentiality of candidates and clients: not improperly disclosing confidential information and only submitting individuals for positions with their express prior consent. Consider each qualified candidate for an opening, regardless of race, creed, color, country of origin, gender, age, disability, or other legally proscribed factor. Strive for professional growth in their chosen career. Relate to other members in a professional and ethical manner that is consistent with the mission and goals of SATRN, refraining from direct solicitation of other members or meeting attendees. Refrain from engaging in illegal, unprofessional, or unethical actions that might bring disrepute to the technical recuiting profession, SATRN, or their fellow members.
